How does this help? If the six month limit is up and the background check is not done, do you think the US would grant the visa or deny it?

All this is going to do if it become law is that more petitions will be denied because it is the six month mark and the background checks are not complete.

Do you think the US is going to risk allowing the next 9/11 attackers in because of this limit of 6 months?

Prepare for a lot of denials if you get your wish.

I believe that most of the 911 attackers were here on student visas

and a few tourist visas

Not one was a spouse or fiance visa
