I walked in today to my local ASCIS center and they took my biometrics! Day 19 and everything seems to be going well so far....

For what it's worth, the ASCIS at Wheaton-Glenmont plaza (Wheaton MD) was very quiet, they said they have a 0.65% failure rate on their fingerprints.

Next step: crossing my fingers and hoping I don't get a RFE!

We got the absolutely coolest surprise today! I had been concerned because I wasn't sure if Paul's divorce papers we had were a certified or regular copy(hard to tell when it's from another country!) and I found one online like his, but it had a stamp/signature/date. Oh no, we are for sure going to get RFE'd for this right? So I sent off an email to the local government office in Denmark where he was divorced and asked how we get a certified copy(thank you Google translate!) The emailed back about a week ago asking for some info, and we sent an email back, expecting to get a reply with the cost of having it sent over.

Today we got the copy in the mail, certified and all, they didn't charge us anything! :D Now we have it ready if an RFE comes!
