Congrats, tokekyi! I know it seems like a long wait but it goes FAST

OK so we had our interview this morning. The IO said we should receive a decision in mail in 30-60 days???? She went over ROC procedures and said "the green card will be mailed at your PO Box address" Not sure what to make of it. I thought most people get approved on the spot?

Anyway, seemed like she focused on proving our identities more than anything... asked to verify signatures, phone numbers birth places, parents names, address.. all the routine questions. Asked all the [what I find odd] I-485 questions and when she got to clubs/societies affiliation I was thinking I need a COFFEE so "I said I'm a gold member at Starbucks but I don't think you care much about how much coffee I drink" she thought that was funny.

Asked for proof of address so we gave joint car insurance, car title/registration, joint checking and credit card.

We asked her about places to see after we are done. Actually ended up really liking downtown Philly. Strongly considering moving there.

So then we got off track and I TOTALLY forgot to show her our photo album headbonk.gif . Now I keep checking the case status... no change ?!?! Glad it's over at least. Overall it was painless and I think it REALLY helped to be prepared even though they didn't ask for most of the things (we submitted originals as much as possible initially so she had everything she needed). I will write a more detailed review once we get a decision.

I hope you have a relaxed interview too. I think I was worried too much but maybe those 'worries ' helped me prepare. You will probably end up bringing more things to the interview than necessary but that's worth it just to give you a peace of mind and confidence. Let alone if they actually ask for more!

Noticed lots of nervous people in the waiting room. We flipped through pics of the kids and the dog while waiting and laughed quite a bit before we went in and I think that helped

anyway VJ is such a good advantage you can ask us anything if you get worried about somethingspecific. I'm excited to help with whatever I can. Soooooo thankful for all the info and help I've gotten here.

Please ask if you're worried about anything!

We did the same thing! :)

I saw one who showed up right before the interview and clearly was meeting the husband for the first time. She sat there and reviewed their evidence. I hope she was cheap!
