The infopass appt is august 2nd and i would hope I don't need to use it. There's no reason I shouldn't have an interview date before September's.

I’m debating whether I should schedule an infopass...I don’t know how useful it’d be :/.

04/24/2012: Received date

05/19/2012: Biometrics done (on date of scheduled appointment)

Waiting ever since...

Unless you intend to file a new I-864 affidavit of support at the interview then you won't need them.

If it is your intention to file a new I-864 at the interview then obtain IRS tax transcripts either by ordering online here or calling 1-800-908-9946.

They are two separate letters. Usually you receive the "Welcome" letter before the green card, but it isn't unheard of to receive the green card then the "Welcome" letter.

Ugh. Looks like the Los Angeles office is way over it's head...

I know! Don't see why it's so hard to schedule an interview.

They can either schedule my interview at October or transfer my case to San francisco field office, I don't care.

I just need to know what is going on.

Thanks Alex and Sofya and Hypnos..

In the I-864 we did not list any of our assets but since husband is self-employed I did make a list of all our assets for the interview just in case they say well just because he made this last year doesn't mean he will make that this year... other than that nothing changed so I didn't consider filing a new I-864... Should I ???

Ugh. Looks like the Los Angeles office is way over it's head...

Yep the IO in our interview explained we were lucky to live in Colorado that the "K1 AOS process is fairly quick here, not like, Los Angeles, for example". So it looks like they're in over their head on a pretty consistent basis.
