This is really the only place I can vent about it (and it helps!)

I obviously can't talk to my children about it (the oldest is not even a teenager yet) and while my father-in-law lives here we are not that close. Basically my wife was my world and losing her almost crushed me.

But yeah, I'm trying to keep happy thoughts going for next week.

Vent away. For what it is worth, I am really pulling for you and it really sounds like you are doing everything that you can which is all you can possibly do. Lets hope that this is a big week for you.

Another week going by, still no interview appointment... :(

Don't feel too bad. We applied in March and still haven't heard anything about an interview :(

5/2011 Met my wife, she was on a J1

2/25/2012 Married

3/07/2012 Sent I-130,I-485,I-765,I-131 to Chicago lockbox

3/16/12 NOA1 received along with notice that Biometric fee was missing

3/25/12 received receipt that biometric fee had been accepted

4/16/12 Biometric Appointment

5/14/12 EAD/AP card received

06/2014 - I-751 package filing joint with spouse sent

5 days to extension,37 days to biometrics, 172 days to CSC transfer, 247 days to Green Card

04/2015 - Eligible for Citizenship

09/2015 - N-400 package filing on basis of USC spouse sent

29 days to biometrics, 105 days to interview, 147 days to oath and US citizenship

~ 9 years and 6 months from first entry to US citizenship

Good luck! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Dallas people to just get it over with. Let us know when you hear from them.

While I'm here, I may as well tell you that my case still hasn't been updated since our interview. After this whole online notification system totally bugging on me for the entire process, I'm not surprised and expecting the card to arrive without the online status changing. But I'll let you know either way.

Hi Coocoo, I am in the same position as you. My online status is still stuck at Decision and I could do with that little green card sooner rather than later

anyone know how long from approval email to card production?

Looking at other people's timelines it seems to range from 7 days upwards.

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on July 16, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days

Just got an email / text saying that USCIS have posted via USPS. I fly tomorrow for my 'UK Wedding' I really hope it is here on time. It not, my wife doesn't fly till Tuesday, so should be able to bring with her. Exciting times :)
