All these people with interviews, makes me wonder if I will ever get a notice for one? My case was transferred to California Service Center. I've been told that if gets transferred there I don't get an interview, is this true?

That is generally true -- although, your case can still be sent back to your local USCIS office for an interview. Chances are you do not need a second interview. However, your I485 approval is likely to take 6 - 10 months at the California Service Center (CSC).

10 months? Ugghh, Oh well at least I got my EAD.

What he said I guess K1s are different....you might want to compare with the K1s AOS in the family forum...just for ease of mind.

Geez I should have gotten married first before applying for my greencard. I've had to wait so long to be with my loved one, spending so much money on visits to see him, We should have gotten married sooner, I probably would have gotten my greencard by now.

Hit the 60 day mark on waiting for an EAD, I really hope today is the day. In the meantime, noticed when I check case status on the USCIS website, below the initial review status at the bottom of the page there are red letters that say:

OMB Control Number: xxxx

Expiration date 6-30-2012

I wonder if its some technical glitch? Maybe they have to approve before 6/30..That'd be nice!

On their interview, did anyone take in phones or ipods etc? I am trying to figure out whether to take mine or not? We have a load of pictures together on it is all. I'll take some paper ones as well mind

yes , I was using my phone all the time, but I don't know if some field offices are strict about it

EAD / AP card just arrived in the mail. I actually never knew that they were a joint card. This is great, but will hopefully only need it for a few months

Day 0: 04/13/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 6: 04/19/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 10: 04/23/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 04/26/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 25: 05/08/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 28: 05/11/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 32: 05/15/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Day 35: 05/18/12: USCIS received RFE and case updated online.

Day 39: 05/22/12: Biometrics completed.

Day 59: 06/11/12: Email / Text informing me that my Interview date is 12th July 2012

Day 67: 06/19/12: Email / Text Received that EAD has been approved

Day 70: 06/22/12: 2nd Email / Text telling me that EAD is in production

Had our interview at Denver's office yesterday. It was short and sweet. Hard to even find anything to say about it. She swore us in, searched for a few questions she could ask us, asked for any additional proof we wanted to give her, glanced at it, mumbled an approval, escorted us out. The most nerve racking part was the wait. Stress level dropped significantly on the way out the door. Got the approval email just a few minutes ago. Good luck everyone!
