To update: I called USCIS and requested for the rescheduling over the phone (as per the instructions in the notice) then a day after that, the local USCIS office near where i live sent me an email requesting for a fax copy of an actual letter requesting for rescheduling plus any documents to show my good cause. I sent them over yesterday. Now, I am just waiting for their next move :) hopefully, everything will go as smoothly as possible. :)

04/2012 - Concurrent I-130 petition / I-485 AOS / I-765 EAD / I-131 AP sent

06/2014 - I-751 package filing joint with spouse sent

1) All the AOS are first routed to the NBC (National Benefits Center) which after review would forward them to the appropiate center. In your case it was transfered to to the CSC (california Service Center) which, in my understanding, get all the AOS from K1 visa and usually adjudicate them without the need for an interview. Unfortunately the CSC seems a little backed-up right now.

2) Your case seems to be moving along just fine; no need to worry at this time. Good luck.

Day 00: 04/23/12 - Sent forms I-130, I-485 and I-765 to Chicago

Started: 04/24/12 - PK received by L. Martin @ 10:28am

Day 02: 04/26/12 - 3 Emails/text's received from USCIS @ 3:45pm

Day 03: 04/27/12 - Checks cashed in the afternoon...

Day 07: 05/01/12 - NOA 1 (I-130), 2 (I-485) and 3 (I-765) on the mail.

Day 10: 05/04/12 - Biometrics Notification in mail (appointment set for 05/17)

Day 10: 05/04/12 - Early Biometrics done (No problems at all).

Day 44: 06/05/12 - Notification of Interview received by text and email at 6:15am, for 07/11/2012.

Day 50: 06/11/12 - NOA in the mail for Interview in Houston, TX at 10:00am (day 80).

Day 65: 06/26/12 - Notification of EAD in production.

Day 68: 06/29/12 - Second notification of EAD in production.

Day 72: 07/03/12 - Third notification... USPS picked up mail from USCIS containing new card (EAD).

Day 74: 07/05/12 - EAD ON MY HANDS!!!

Day 80: 07/11/12 - Interview (10:00am), APPROVED on the spot! First notification (Card on production) @ 4:30pm.

Day 81: 07/12/12 - Notification email received, I-130 Approved and mailed notice that I am "registred as new permanent resident status".

Day 88: 07/19/12 - GREEN CARD ON MY HANDS!!!

No waiting any more!!!...

to prepare and do everything right, including subscribing to this site and posting/reading the forums,

Haha...I just might...but I think everything is all set. I am just trying to relax. My husband and I have a lot going on besides the interview. Our new house drama is way more stressful...and I am getting promoted in a couple of weeks...all good stress, but stress, nonetheless....

No movement on my EAD but this close to the interview I'm not that bothered.

Even if it was approved today I would probably only receive it a handful of days before the 10th, rendering it largely moot.

You would very likely have AP / EAD by then though.

The issue would be that your interview would probably be scheduled for late July / early August, right in the middle of your holiday.

We have almost identical timeslines; I'm surprised that you haven't gotten an interview date yet (I assume you aren't K-1). I would expect to hear something before the end of the month.

According to the latest processing times, the LA office is slightly backed up but not by a lot.

I have a quick question: Do most of you have lawyers working with you on your case??? I'm just wondering if having a lawyer speeds up the process. Do you think that's possible? Many of you have received interview letters already, or had some form of contact from the USCIS. I have heard nothing since my biometrics. No RFEs. No NOAs. No emails or texts. I can't even access my case status online (I did sign up for this, but still cannot access it).

Well, I'm just having an "I can't stand the waiting" meltdown. Need to find a way to distract myself.... :dance:

Married in September 1996.
AOS October 1996
LPR April 1997 to 2003.
