Best of luck with the rescheduling. I'd be interested how you get on with that. I was really worried that may conflict with my UK Wedding Celebration. I was so lucky that our interview is a week before. I did my biometrics on the 22nd May and only got the email yesterday, so I'd say to sit tight for a few more days yet.

I'm viewing everyone's timeline for their AOS and I filed and received NOA april 23rd, had biometrics May 23rd and now it seems it's come to a halt. I see people are getting notifications on interview dates or RFE or that

their EAD is in production, but we haven't heard anything since the biometrics appt other than an email back in april saying our petition was received and routed to the nation benefits center. Is this normal for it to be routed to the

national benefit center? USCIS website shows no " touches" either.

I'm worried that we haven't heard anything at all. Should I be concerned?

Just found this page that I wanted to add to my comment here. On april 23rd they also sent us a NOA stating " this is to advice you that in order to speed up processing we have

transferred the above case to the following USCIS office for processing: California service center.

Is this normal?

1) All the AOS are first routed to the NBC (National Benefits Center) which after review would forward them to the appropiate center. In your case it was transfered to to the CSC (california Service Center) which, in my understanding, get all the AOS from K1 visa and usually adjudicate them without the need for an interview. Unfortunately the CSC seems a little backed-up right now.

2) Your case seems to be moving along just fine; no need to worry at this time. Good luck.

My understanding is that K1 adjustments that get sent to CSC means you won't have to deal with an interview (yeah!!) but it also means you are in for a wait, as they are currently taking 6-7 months to process.

To update: I called USCIS and requested for the rescheduling over the phone (as per the instructions in the notice) then a day after that, the local USCIS office near where i live sent me an email requesting for a fax copy of an actual letter requesting for rescheduling plus any documents to show my good cause. I sent them over yesterday. Now, I am just waiting for their next move :) hopefully, everything will go as smoothly as possible. :)
