Glad to find this post. Husband and I are so anxiously awaiting his EAD approval. Biometrics were done 5/23/2012 and we are counting down the days.

He is the beneficiary and is itching to start working asap. He has obligations back in canada that he must pay and not working is going to put him behind here real soon.

Hope it isn't much longer.

Hi all. I'm getting bored at home and thinking up many things . I have a theory that some silly rfes are just time buyers for filers who have busy offices. It's their way of making us think that the delay was due to the rfe when the timeline was gonna be delayed anyway because the office is slammed.. I am only referring to bogus rfes like for things already turned in or somewhat petty. A quick rfe reply should not delay the case for a long time. People who get rfes from less busy offices sometimes still get early appt and ead/ap cards. Well that's all I got for now! Lol

sorry it's been a moment for us checking. we, the husband and i was going through some things. i think it's just nerves, but thanks to the Lord, everything is back on track. families were involved, but not in the positive light, and some friends were involved, also not in the positive light. so we had to have a long discussion with ourselves about what we are going to do next. i know i am getting a little weird-ed out about the whole ordeal. it's been so stressful. and having families and friends involved over something that was stupid and crazy with no control. i sought advice but people where telling me to leave him. but anyway, now we are okay. things are going well. families have made up, or so called friends had to be kicked to the curb cause i couldn't take it anymore. so hopefully with the added stress gone, hopefully we are looking to some lighter stress days.

Hey girl. Just saw your post. What you're going through sheds light on how marriages can get tough. This coupled with the added drama of immigration processing puts extra drain on the spirit. No doubt there are others here, myself included, who are experiencing various troubles regarding life, marriage, family etc. May you find strength in the fact that there is always some light at the end of the tunnel. May you find peace, joy, and comfort in the days, weeks, and months to come.

It would seem as though people who filed in the back half of April have yet to receive EAD/AP approvals.

This is the case for me. I was hoping to hear this week (according to Igor's list). Best of luck with it all. I was trying to work out which the NOA date was. Is it the received date or notice date? I am assuming the latter.

Three weeks today!

I'm trying to get a copy of the enrollment documents for both of my children for the 2009 - 2010 school year (the last year that both my wife and I were jointly listed as parents on the forms). If I had been thinking then I would have done this before school ended, and it seems like I am playing phone tag with half a dozen people trying to get it done now in the summer. One lady at the ISD told me it might not be do-able until August, which I told her would of course be too late for the purpose that I require them for.

In all likelihood I probably won't even need them, but I'd prefer to have too much evidence rather than not enough.

sounds like ur gathering the air force for treating a weed problem in the backyard.

you have kids man.. just take their birth certs and walk out.

Hypnos... Remember nothing is too much! I do not think that you will have any problem with just the birth certs, but whatever you can have extra is better...
