Just got my interview date for 12th July. So relieved as this is before my wedding :) :) :)

Background Information

-Jul 2008: Arrived with an L1A visa

-Feb 2009: Met USC.

-Jan 2011: Changed companies with a H1B visa

-Oct 2011: Got Engaged.

-Mar 2012: Married USC

-Apr 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 04/13/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 6: 04/19/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 10: 04/23/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 04/26/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 25: 05/08/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 28: 05/11/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 32: 05/15/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Day 35: 05/18/12: USCIS received RFE and case updated online.

Wow, so many of you are on the fast track!! Lucky YOU!!! :dance:

I have drawn the 'slower than molasses' card. :blink: I've checked the timeline stats, and it's likely I will get a bite in about two or three months.

So, please don't forget me as I limp along, dealing with one of the slowest USCIS offices in the country....

Don't worry... your case is not the slowest. My biometrics appt is only this Friday :(

Forgive me for gasping but what went wrong? Did you bully the USCIS officers kid? Lol. Anyway. Even you will eventually be added to the list of interviews and Eads. I wish you to be encouraged. slowly but surely wins the race. So did you take up knitting?

Checked my case status today. My EAD has been picked up and should be arriving to me within 7 days, that;s great and all. However, nothing has changed about my travel document. I have been more anxious about getting that because I need to be back home in July. I'm kind of bummed about it. I would rather get my travel document first. I feel imprisoned here. I need to go back home!

I think your AP will be right on your EAD card....

:D:lol: You made my day!!! Maybe they were USCIS kids :) Just kidding :) Don't think ever bullied anyone, and hope not to be bullied. I am trying to be hopeful. Nothing else left to do :yes:
