I received the paper copy of my interview notice in the mail today.

I was slightly concerned by the second page which gives instructions to bring court-certified copies of any arrests, convictions, etc. until I figured that it was probably just a standard enclosure and not specific to me (I have never been arrested, detained, charged or convicted of anything, anywhere; not even a parking ticket).

That's a standard notice -- not specific to you. Nothing to be concerned about.

Hi Guys,

I am waiting for my EAD and Interview. I am getting a little concerned as we are having a 'wedding' ceremony (we got married legally in March) in the UK on the 28th July and I have a flight booked to the UK between 21st July and August 4th. Does anyone know if you can change the interview date if it falls between these dates?

Day 10: 04/23/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 04/26/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 25: 05/08/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 28: 05/11/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 32: 05/15/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Day 35: 05/18/12: USCIS received RFE and case updated online.

Day 39: 05/22/12: Biometrics completed.

Today (Day 56): 06/08/12

No advice on your reschedule but ill be watching your profile. You're my VJ twin: same accept date rfe date and and rfe acceptance date. It's a race to see who gets an appt first. Hopefully you since you already made huge plans. But I don't know...

I have drawn the 'slower than molasses' card. I've checked the timeline stats, and it's likely I will get a bite in about two or three months.

So, please don't forget me as I limp along, dealing with one of the slowest USCIS offices in the country....

Just received notification of card production on the EAD & approval on the AP. Now we can finally get my husband's driver's license, car insurance & registration taken care of.
