What visa are you adjusting from myafi? It can't be K-1 I'm guessing, as those AoS' take months.

It looks like we have three confirmed interviews from the April group so far:

chimcham - 25th June (Hartford, CT)

Daeras - 26th June (Philadelphia, PA)

myafi1985 - 26th June (Washington, DC)

Here's hoping more show up soon (still nothing on my own application).

Just received notification that my interview is June 26th (Washington DC field office). AOS package mailed in early April. Biometrics done on May 10th. No information on AP or EAD. Really surprised how fast the process has been so far - I thought DC would have a huge backlog of applicants.

I am adjusting from F1 :blush:

Just received notification that my interview is June 26th (Washington DC field office). AOS package mailed in early April. Biometrics done on May 10th. No information on AP or EAD. Really surprised how fast the process has been so far - I thought DC would have a huge backlog of applicants.

OMG , we gonna meet then , our interviews are on the same day :D

day 2 -- 04/12/2012-- package was received.

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 77-- 06/26/2012-- interview / approved on the spot.

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

day 1 -- 04/07/2014 -- ROC Package delivered to VSC

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

Hi guys, I need some advise... I am freakout because as you know I am processing my immigration paperwork since last April 23 everything is going pretty smooth but today I received an order from the court that somebody is suing me for a car accident that happen 2 years ago. How do you think this can affect my case? I am so mad and nervous, I do not know what to do or what to think...

Day 00: 01/12/12 - Got Married

Day 00: 04/23/12 - Sent forms I-130, I-485 and I-765 to Chicago

Started: 04/24/12 - PK received by L. Martin @ 10:28am

Day 02: 04/26/12 - 3 Emails/text's received from USCIS @ 3:45pm

Day 03: 04/27/12 - Checks cashed in the afternoon...

Day 07: 05/01/12 - NOA 1 (I-130), 2 (I-485) and 3 (I-765) on the mail.

Day 10: 05/04/12 - Biometrics Notification in mail (appointment set for 05/17)

Day 10: 05/04/12 - Early Biometrics done (No problems at all).

Day 44: 06/05/12 - Notification of Interview received by text and email at 6:15am, for 07/11/2012.

Day 50: 06/11/12 - NOA in the mail for Interview in Houston, TX at 10:00am (day 80).

Day 65: 06/26/12 - Notification of EAD in production.

Day 68: 06/29/12 - Second notification of EAD in production.

Day 72: 07/03/12 - Third notification... USPS picked up mail from USCIS containing new card (EAD).

Day 74: 07/05/12 - EAD ON MY HANDS!!!

Day 80: 07/11/12 - Interview (10:00am), APPROVED on the spot! First notification (Card on production) @ 4:30pm.

Day 81: 07/12/12 - Notification email received, I-130 Approved and mailed notice that I am "registred as new permanent resident status".

Day 88: 07/19/12 - GREEN CARD ON MY HANDS!!!

No waiting any more!!!...

On May 22, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for June 26, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Unless the accident resulted in criminal charges against you I would think it should be a non-issue.

April 11th 2012 Day 6 .. Received text/email conformation

April 18th 2012 Day 13.. Received Bio Appointment for April 30th 2012 :)

April 26th 2012 Day 21.. Check online status seen i got an RFE :(

April 30th 2012 Day 25.. Did my BIO, and RFE arrived in the mail

May 1st 2012 Day 26.. Sent back RFE and did my Change of address

May 3rd 2012 Day 28 .. RFE recieved and online status change to RFE reponse review

June 5th 2012 Day 30 ... Received Email ' Card in Production' :)

June 6th 2012 Day 31 ... Recieved interview Date for July 10th

June 13th 2012 Day 38 .. Received Employment CARD

Should i bring my receipts showning i Applied for my AOS i only have my Irish passport also .. Kinda scary Im afraid they will see i am out Status and deport me or something :( :( :( :(

If it will help you sleep at night, bring them...but it shouldn't be an issue...I think there are a few threads that talk about this..just search em out :)

Filing AoS puts you into a legal status until your case is adjudicated. I would carry around a copy of the NOA for your I-485 in the highly unlikely event that someone who is entitled to see it asks about your current status (you would reply "my adjustment of status application is pending" or "my green card application is pending").

I carry a copy of mine but I will be astounded if someone asks to see if before I receive my EAD or GC proper itself.
