Biometrics letter FINALLY received! :D Scheduled for the very end of this month. Hooray!

Not to worry, it took them over a month to adjudicate my RFE response and send out my interview letter.

-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Hey everyone.

So something unexpected happened, and my wife (who is my sponsor) lost her job. I'm not sure if she will find an other one that pays enough

in time for the Interview, but I make more than enough. Can I simply bring an updated I-864 to the interview, or do I need to send it in?

Sorry to hear about your wife.

I believe you can complete a new I-864 (with all required supporting documentation) and submit it at the interview. In fact I have read copious amount of interview write-ups where the IO specifically asked a couple if they wanted to submit a new I-864.

Do you know if I can count my income from working back home (Israel)? I work from home, and am still getting paid over there (i.e. no work authorization here).

Do I need to be paying taxes here for my income to count?

Ye no touches :( ... I did allow for ead also not the AP doe .:( its very fustrating watching the mail checking my email and online I'm tiring into crazy women lol

Sorry this is causing so much difficulty for you. I feel confident that things will work themselves out. We can't do much more than wait and be optimistic. To avoid going crazy, im just cooking up a storm, trying new recipes, and meeting up with old friends. Hope it gets easier for you.

I was able to put our RFE response in the mail on Saturday morning, and it arrived yesterday. The P.O. confirmed that the USCIS picked up the package, so now I'm just waiting for their official notifications and update to the website. I PRAY that things get back on the quick roll that they were before. We're hoping to have hubby's EAD before our family reunion out of state in July.
