Still waiting for that biometrics letter. It's going to be one month real soon with no news from them. It's getting pretty discouraging.

Where is you filing location?

On May 15, 2012, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.

So confused...he was able to get his biometrics letter without an issue so why are the NOAs undeliverable?? I'll call of course just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue.

AOS From K-1 Visa (POE 4/6/12)

Day 1 (4/24/12): Sent I-131, I-765, I-485 via FedEx to Chigago

Day 3 (4/26/12): Delivered

Day 7 (4/30/12): 3 Texts/Emails Received with April 26th NOA1 Date

Day 8 (5/01/12): Check Cashed

Day 12(5/05/12): Biometrics Appt. Letter received (for 5/25/12)

Day 31(5/24/12): Successful Walk-in Biometrics

Day 73(7/04/12): Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 78(7/09/12): 2nd Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 79(7/10/12): Notification EAD/AP has been mailed and Notification EAD/AP Picked up by USPS

Day 81(7/12/12): EAD/AP card arrives!

Day 88(7/19/12): Interview for AOS: Approved!

Completed biometrics today. Took about 20 minutes from entry to exit. Orlando has a steady flow of traffic.

Now the real wait begins. Orlando has a backlog, so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to get that interview letter. :whistle:

Forced to abandon status at POE in DC, 2003.

Returned to USA Oct 2011, on B1 tourist visa
Filed i-130 and i-485 in April 2012.

LPR approved 10/22/2012 (Conditional 2 year period waived)

Fast forward 4 years to 2016.... it's that time!

Hmm...have you researched similar timelines to yours that filed in Boston? I'm sure you will get it soon.

I'm in Boston too! ..but augh. I wanted to file in April but we're still lacking some tax forms, so I'm just following this thread seeing what happens before I get to actually submit mine.

Nah. No issues with the mail. And there doesn't seem to be that many timelines similar to mine. I'll remain patient for another week. I really hope I get a nice little surprise in the mail within the next few days. Gotta stay optimistic, right? :P

The eagerness never goes away...it never gets "done" until we get that 10 year green card...because I am literally sitting here tapping away my foot waiting for that interview letter. Absolutely...and trust me. The eagerness never goes away...it never gets "done" until we get that 10 year green card...because I am literally sitting here tapping away my foot waiting for that interview letter. I have no patience! UGH. I will keep good thoughts for you! I envision a quick turnaround time for you!

Awwww... I'm also struggling with patience. :P There's too many waiting periods involved. But we knew this already, didn't we? At this point I'm just tired of waiting for that darn Biometrics letter. I'd rather be waiting for the Interview letter. lol.

I'm keeping good thoughts for you as well and hoping that Mr Mailman delivers your appointment letter really really really soon :)

Hey there follow Bostonian. Real cool that you got your biometrics letter fairly quick. I don't know where mine is. I don't know if they sent it already or not. It better not be lost somewhere out there ... that'd be horrible. Oh the stress.
