They don't check your immigration status in the domestic flights, expect if they got suspicious about u, like if they find a threat in your luggage or so

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

Just got an email from my lawyer that she got her paper copies of the NOAs today, so I am hoping that mine will show up tomorrow. She emailed me scans of hers though so I can at least print them out and use it as proof of lawful status, but I need an original copy for the Texas Department of Public Safety so I can apply for an ID card.

That came really fast, but glad you guys were able to get it out of the way. I am anticipating one myself for his divorce papers not being certified(we have that ready to send in now) but nothing yet, we'll see.

Does anyone have any new updates? I presume that those of us who have completed biometrics may be receiving interview notifications within the next few weeks. It looks like the March filers have had luck receiving them quickly. One person received it a week after their bio was completed.

My package was received on a Monday like yours, and I got the texts on the Thursday. I imagine you should be getting them soon. The hard copy NOAs came the following Wednesday after that... :)

Finally got my biometrics appointment letter!!! May 15 at 12noon, in Orlando. Bummed that I have to go all the way to Orlando, when Tampa is so much closer. What is the deal with that???

I-129F filed May 1996
K-1 issued August 1996
Married in September 1996.
AOS October 1996
LPR April 1997 to 2003.
Forced to abandon status at POE in DC, 2003.
Lived & worked in Asia together 2000 to 2011.
We have 2 gorgeous kids!
Returned to USA Oct 2011, on B1 tourist visa
Filed i-130 and i-485 in April 2012.

LPR approved 10/22/2012 (Conditional 2 year period waived)

Fast forward 4 years to 2016.... it's that time!

Day 0: April 13, 2016 Sent N-400 at 12:20pm :dancing:

Day 1: April 14, 2016 Delivered to USCIS Lewisville, TX 11:38am

Day 6: April 19, 2016 Text acceptance 3:48pm ; Check Cashed

Nothing yet :( I really hope it'll be in today's mail. Now that would make me a very happy man. My fear is that it got lost in the mail or something :P It's really cool that you've completed your bio. I hope you get your interview date real soon! Perhaps as fast as the March filer you mentioned above. :)

I am lucky. I am able to keep my status as an L1 while my AOS is pending. I'm not sure what I would do. I'm sure you are going stir crazy! What do you do to pass the time? I would imagine our apartment would be really clean if i wasn't working...HAHA :)

yes i do go crazy.. and we only moved to AZ not long ago so hard meet new people when i dont have job or that so its kinda stressful so hopefully ill be able work soon

I received my paper NOAs in the mail today.

About to head out to the local Department of Public Safety to apply for a TX ID card. Since I live in the middle of nowhere I am expecting there to be issues since they don't see applications like this very often in a small town like this.

Still waiting on the Biometrics letter to arrive, but when it does I have a questions about Walk-in Biometrics appointments. Do you still make an Infopass appointment (they have a lot of open time slots at the local Denver office)and bring that in with your Biometrics letter or do you just walk in with the letter?

Day 7 (4/30/12): 3 Texts/Emails Received with April 26th NOA1 Date

Day 8 (5/01/12): Check Cashed

Day 12(5/05/12): Biometrics Appt. Letter received (for 5/25/12)

Day 31(5/24/12): Successful Walk-in Biometrics

Day 73(7/04/12): Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 78(7/09/12): 2nd Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 79(7/10/12): Notification EAD/AP has been mailed and Notification EAD/AP Picked up by USPS

You do not make an InfoPass appointment for walk-ins. You simply walk-in and hope for the best.

Besides, your Biometrics will not be taken at the local USCIS Office in Denver. It will be taken at a local Application Centre-- mine was out in Aurora by I-70/Chambers.

-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.

-Feb 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.
