Well I'm glad that's done, if it's any consolation. We are both caught up in the uscis processing grinding to a halt before giving us appointments. I am beginning to take it personally. People in my city have been getting appts and approved within 90days and here I am, and you are too, waiting daily for a single text message! Hope you are managing well.

As odd as it might seem, it puts the ball back in your hands- you're somehow back in control instead of being in limbo. Gather the required evidence and force them to make a decision. Good luck

Certainly very unusual but sadly not unheard of.

It might have been for something your IO forgot. Did they take your I-94? Did you have a long-form birth certificate to show them?

If they're requesting your I-94, make sure you keep a certified color copy (front and back) before you mail it

She got the I-94. The officer said she would check up on his Medical, which she was sure there was no issue and she would go ahead and approve it. I'm guessing that's what the problem is. The only other thing that we lingered on during the interview was our rental lease. I'm just ready to get this over-with already.

Hi I files my vawa october 2011 still nothing here anything never see touch on online . I just got two prima facie and renew my ead which is allready one issue before filing vawa . I send all documents . Recently I send new all dr reports and dr personal letters with opinion . Anybody same filling month with me ? Or before like August or sept ?

VAWA cases are taking approximately 14 months to approve, so you may hear something around Christmas of this year.

I file with the marriege base aos . I send proper fees and others documents . I got ead also . After that my interview letter coming but before interview our marriege going broken stage due to badly abuse . So when interview date was coming I go alone there and tell everything to the I.o.after that still my case in initial review . I just wanna mention here interview was aug 2011 but after that I file 2011 oct vawa . I send all documents proofs evidence affidavits dr reports etc but I have wedding snaps I allready send with aos packet so I don't send any picture with vawa packet . So still I need to send some picture separately or no ? After file vawa my ead renew . I think this was renew bcoz he got my all old information from my aos file or I send my old ead copy with new renewal application that's y I don't need to go again biometrics etc am I right ? Now second question , I need to file again or separate I-485 or no ? Bcoz before when I file that time my wife not coming for interview . So give us advise .
