Interview in about 6 days (Tampa, FL office), and boy am I freaking out. You hear all the horror stories and ugghhh. I was fine, but now that it's so close, I can't seem to calm down!!!!

2003/4 School Year: Met hubby while we were in college...became great friends
2005: My college graduation
2011: Began dating
1/13/12: Got Married to the world's best hubby
2/2/12: Mailed I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox
2/3/12: Package received and signed for by USCIS
2/13/12: Received NOA1 for all 3 petitions
2/16/12: Got driver's license reinstated
2/17/12: Received notice for biometrics appointment
3/1/12: Biometrics appointment successful
3/5/12: Received notification of appointment for interview scheduled for April 4, 2012
3/28/12: Received notification that production has been ordered for my EAD
4/4/12: AOS interview with my hubby; approved on the spot! Thank you Jesus!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING TO GREEN CARD APPROVAL: 2 months and 2 days.....Didn't even get EAD; no need for it with green card!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS:

3/11/14: Shipped I-751 package to Vermont Service Center

3/12/14: Received at VSC and signed for by L ZUCHOWSKI.

3/17/14: Payment shows on our bank account for the check written.

4/4/14: Early biometrics successful!

9/25/14: Case update: APPROVAL NOTICE!!!

10/4/14:10 year green card arrived in the mail!!! Yay!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING I-751 TO APPROVAL: 6 months and 14 days....No RFE or interview! Thankful to God that this is behind us!

I haven't heard many horror stories at all...I mostly hear great experiences that say, "it's not worth stressing over". If you are prepared with the info they have requested and your application is legit than you will be ok.

What could they possible ask that would give you cause for worry? :)

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

Day 2 - UPS Tracking Confirmation - 02/29/2012
Day 4 - NOA Emails Received - 03/02/2012

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

My interview is tomorrow at 1245. The only thing that is stressing me out is the evidence. I've sent all of the evidence together with the application and it's a pain in the neck to gather all those documents all over again. But it's my fault for not making copies. Right now I'm searching high and low for my joint credit card statement/contract and my bank statement. I'm not sure if I still have a copy of my apartment lease with me as I'd sent them the last one I had. :bonk: I hope everything's better at your end!

Adjusting Status from F-1 Visa
• Dec 2007 - Arrived for the first time for college • Jan 2008 - Met the beloved • Sept 11th, 2009 - Started dating •
• Dec 2010 - Graduated from college • Feb 17th, 2011 - Status changed from F-1 to OPT (OPT ends Feb 17th 2012) •
• Mar 2011 - Received EAD card and employment began • Sept 12th, 2011 - Married! •
Jan 11th, 2012 (Day 0) - Mailed I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131 to Chicago Lockbox
Jan 12th, 2012 (Day 1) - Application received by USCIS J.C.
Jan 17th, 2012 (Day 5) - 4 NOA received via text and email
Jan 18th, 2012 (Day 6) - Checks cashed
Jan 23rd, 2012 (Day 11) - Received 3 NOA hardcopies (I130, I765, I131)
Jan 30th, 2012 (Day 19) - Received NOA hardcopy for I485 and Biometrics appointment letter. (Error was found on address (FL instead of AL) and biometrics was scheduled at the local office (Tampa,FL) that is 8hrs away)
Jan 31st, 2012 (Day 20) - Called USCIS Customer Service to inform them of their clerical error. Spoke to tier 2 rep and was told to walk in on the scheduled date for biometrics at the nearest office (New Orleans, LA))
Feb 8th, 2012 (Day 28) - Biometrics completed at ASC in New Orleans
Feb 27th, 2012 (Day 47) - Interview for I-485 on March 30th, received via text/email from USCIS
Mar 16th, 2012 (Day 65) - EAD/AP card arrived in mail!
Mar 30th, 2012 (Day 79) - AoS Interview at Atlanta, GA; APPROVED!
Apr 9th, 2012 (Day 89) - Green Card in hand! THANK YOU VJers! (Expiration March 30, 2014)

Feb 6th, 2014 (Day 0) - Mailed I-751 packet to VSC (USPS Express)

Feb 7th, 2014 (Day 1) - Packet received by USCIS L Juchowski

Feb 10th, 2014 (Day 4) - Received NOA1

Feb 12th, 2014 (Day 6) - Check cashed by VSC

Mar 3rd, 2014 (Day 25) - Received Biometrics Appointment letter (Dated Feb 24 for appointment on March 18 @ Metairie, LA)

Mar 11, 2014 (Day 33) - Early walk-in at the ASC in Birmingham, AL

Apr 13, 2014 (Day 66) - Change of Address

Jul 28, 2014 (Day 172) - Email/Text from USCIS: Card Production (Approval)

We have not been able to get a joint bank account as the bank would not add me because my passport is expired.

We also have not been able to get a lease together. I've lived there since the wedding, but the landlord told us that in order for me to be added to the lease, he would require us to sign a new lease. We were not willing to renew the lease since it will be up on April 30th, and we want to move.

We have our joint cable bill, joint utilities/electric, an affadavit from a friend, a letter from our pre-marital counselor, pending life insurance (still not approved yet), my W-2 which shows our address, him on my vision and dental insurance coverage from my job, and a few photos of us at my mom's birthday gathering last November.

9/10/12 EAD card ordered, (didnt get email or text checked it on USCIS website)

9/18/12 EAD card received in the mail

9/18/12 Interview done, approved on the spot!

9/19/12 Got email that approval notice was mailed out on 9/18/12

9/22/12 Received Approval notice in the mail

9/24/12 Got email that greencard was sent in the mail

9/26/12 Received greencard in the mail, thank you lord!

NYC is well-known for strict Stokes interview if they suspects a relationship. But there is nothing horror if you're legit.
