Ja zostalam listownie poinformowana, ze zostala mi przyznana 10 letnia zielona karta. List dostalam 4/22/2009, a karty dalej mi nie przyslali. Powoli zaczynam sie martwic.... Ale maja jeszcze kilkanascie dni na jej przyslanie, wiec moze dojdzie na czas.... W liscie mi napisali, ze powinna dojsc w ciagu 60 dni.

17 June 2005- entered US on tourist visa, I came to visit my boyfriend. We hadn't seen each other for 9 months.

18 November 2005- We got married!!!

8 December 2005- we sent I-485 package to Chicago

16 December 2005- notice date for I-485, I-130, I-765

28 December 2005- biometrics appointment letter

11 January 2006-biometrics done

1 April 2006- finally got EAD

7 April 2006- applied for SSN

6 May 2006- SSN arrived

26 June 2006- got my driver's license

17 August 2006- got my interview letter!!!!

02 October 2006 11:30- we had an interview and we were approved!!!

07 October 2006- I got my Welcome Notice

14 October 2006- Permanent Resident Card Arrived!!!

12 July 2008- I-751 sent

17 July 2008-check cashed

19 July 2008-NOA from VSC

8 August 2008- biometrics appointment letter arrived

9 August 2008- request for rescheduling sent

4 September 2008-biometrics

25 February 2009-case transferred to CSC

19 June 2009- Green Card arrived !!!

No USCIS for the next 10 years!

Maly update, wczoraj dostalam nowa karte!!!!

17 June 2005- entered US on tourist visa, I came to visit my boyfriend. We hadn't seen each other for 9 months.

18 November 2005- We got married!!!

8 December 2005- we sent I-485 package to Chicago

16 December 2005- notice date for I-485, I-130, I-765

28 December 2005- biometrics appointment letter

11 January 2006-biometrics done

1 April 2006- finally got EAD

7 April 2006- applied for SSN

6 May 2006- SSN arrived

26 June 2006- got my driver's license

17 August 2006- got my interview letter!!!!

02 October 2006 11:30- we had an interview and we were approved!!!

07 October 2006- I got my Welcome Notice

14 October 2006- Permanent Resident Card Arrived!!!

12 July 2008- I-751 sent

Witam wszystkich! Rzeczywiscie watek nam zaginal, ale ja z reszta tez tu zadko zagladam odkad mam juz zielona karte. Ale teraz bede sie staraa o obywatelstwo i pewnie bede szukala porad. Ciekawa jestem kto tu jeszcze zaglada? Forever, co tam u Ciebie, gdzie teraz mieszkacie?

W poniedzialek lece do polski, ale po owrocie bede skladac papiery o obywatelstwo, a to przedewszystkim dlatego, ze myslimy o przeprowadzce do naszego pieknego :) kraju. No i tu tez mam pytanie... Nie wiecie moze jak to wyglada z viza czy karta stalego pobytu dla Amerykanina w Polsce. My jestesmy juz zaejestrowanym malzenstwem w Polsce, wiec myslalam, ze powinno byc latwie... Bede wdzieczna za pomoc.

A poki co pozdrawiam!

Aaaa, wiecie ile mze kosztuje staranie sie o obywatelstwo bo jakos nie moge znalezc...

Dziecko ma obywatelstwo automatycznie bo ma matke polke (p.s. Gratulacje!). Ale jesli Ci chodzi o paszport, to musisz zlozyc papiery do konsulatu polskiego w USA w krotce po porodzie.

"Dzieci urodzone z rodziców o różnym obywatelstwie tj. polskim i obcym nabywają przez urodzenie obywatelstwo polskie, bez względu na miejsce urodzenia w Polsce czy za granicą. Rodzice w oświadczeniu złożonym przed właściwym organem (konsul dla osób zamieszkałych za granicą lub starosta - dla osób zamieszkałych w Polsce) w ciągu 3 miesięcy od dnia urodzenia się dziecka mogą wybrać dla niego obywatelstwo państwa obcego, którego obywatelem jest drugie z rodziców, jeżeli według prawa tego państwa dziecko nabywa jego obywatelstwo. (Art. 6 ust. 1 ww. ustawy)"

Dzieki! Oczywiscie chodzilo mi o paszport. Ale chyba jaja sobie robia z tym stawianiem sie osobiscie o wydanie paszportu! Jakas paranoja. I nie dosc ze wniosek trzeba osobiscie zlozyc to jeszcze sie po odbior stawic! I do tego jeszcze dzieci do lat 5 dostaje paszport na rok! I z dzieckiem sie trzeba tluc do konsulatu. Juz mi sie odechcialo zalatwiac ten paszport. Niech ma amerykanski i ja mam w d... takie przepisy.

Fajnie, ze polski watek tu jest :) choc swego czasu byl bardziej popularny

Pilot's girl ja tez chlopcom nie wyrabialam polskiego paszportu jeszcze. Poczekam az beda starsi bo nie usmiecha mi sie co rok wyrabiac im nowy. Za to przeslalam do polski ich akty urodzenia i moi rodzice zalatwili urzedowe sprawy w Polsce (PESEL itd.)

Milo spotkac (nawet wirtualnie) kogos z Utah :)

My moze (wielkie MOZE) polecimy do Polski w przyszlym roku, wiec wtedy bym sie postarala o Pesel i moze jakos ten paszport na miejscu by sie jakos udalo dostac. A jak nie (albo jak tylko na rok) to sie poczeka, w sumie pospiechu nie ma.

Mieszkasz w SLC? Ja jestem w Sandy! Pozdr!

Ooooo Pilot's Girl, gratulacje !!!!

Jezeli jeszcze nie zglebilas tematu to moge napisac jak ja zrobilam. Dziecku wyrobilam tylko paszport amerykanski i tyle. W Polsce musisz umiejscowic akt urodzenia (mysle ze teraz procedury sa uproszczone teraz bo ja to robilam 14 lat temu) i nie pamietam juz czy o PESEL wystepujesz osobno czy sami Ci go daja z polskim aktem urodzenia. Wtedy mozesz tam wyrobic paszport, tylko zastanow sie czy na pewno Ci bedzie on potrzebny. Nie mowie o kosztach, bo w Polsce paszport grosze kosztuje ale dzieciom daja chyba na 5 lat i tak naprawde to wg mnie tylko zawracanie glowy. Polski paszport wg mnie potrzebny jest tylko wtedy kiedy jedziesz do kraju, do ktorego Amerykanin potrzebuje wizy a Polak nie i tyle.

Ja juz synowi nie wyrabiam, bo to tylko zawracanie glowy. Jak sie mieszka w Polsce to owszem, ma to jak najbardziej sens, ale jak tutaj to wydaje mi sie ze Polski paszport jest zbedny.
