I'm just posting once again the same stuff, because they closed our thread.

How is doing everyone?

I haven't posted for a while, because with my two (of course part-time) jobs I was really busy.

I have noticed that so much good things happens to everyone... Ola got married, Niki has her interview date, Monika is in the States, Vdal has a job... That's really great, I'm so happy for all of you

This week I decided to start preparing for my interview which is 24th of February. I haven't even read the letter yet, so I don't know what they want me to bring.

Besides that, nothing new in our life... Oh I'm looking for a full-time job, but no luck for now with that... and we want to fly to Poland in May and I'm looking for some tickets deals...

Marzena congratulations!!

Was it difficult?

Best regards

Monika

Monika, I want to go to Poland in May too... I was looking at different deals and so far British Airways looks the best... Just one change in London. I was looking specifically for something without the change in US because that's too much of a hassle. I don't know what deals would be the best for you, but I guess you shouldn't have problems with finding something from Detroit...

Niki, it is soooo expensive... We need to buy two tickets and we want to get tickets as cheap as possoble  I'm checking websites and at this moment I haven't seen any good deal... I hope later they will have some promotions. Anyway, I'm so homesick, that I don't care how much it costs...

Hey Ola! Why would getting visas for your family be difficult? My Mom had her interview in October, they asked her 3 questions (Who she is going to visit, has she ever been abroad and something else I can't remember) and gave her visa for 10 years. She was here for a month during Christmas time. All the rumors about it being hard to get a tourist visa are not true and spread by people who go to the embassy and bullsh*t officers and then are surprised when the embassy sees through their #######... Like that one girl I've seen:

Officer: So who are you going to visit?

Girl: My grandma's aunt...

Grandma's aunt? #######.

Anyway, my interview is getting closer, less than a month left! Yay. Monika, tell us please about your interview!!!

I will disagree with you Pilot's girl...

I didn't get my tourist visa second time, guess why?

Cause consul said that is imposible for Polish to be there for five months. They have to work there!!!

I gave him all the paper that he asked for(all were true) and showing that I didn't have to(truly i wasn't work there!!! just like now).I have only answer the question he asked.and I said him a true and i was denied.

I was not going to stay, just vist my honey cause he was waitng for his naturalization.

After this deny i applay fo au-pair visa and guess what. The organizations denied me!!!They wrote me a letter saying that I have a great experience but this danied of touristic visa can cause that i will not get J-1 visa...

Second time before me in line was waiting a lady.we have a little chat.Lady said that she have two children there. All are legal(GC).she's got 10 years valid visa and her husband was denied for 5 times!!!Why??They didn't know. They're owners of company in Poland and alll the things like cars and houses and guess what? The consul said to him on the last time:You have a lots of money here so why are you going to US??and denied him

so as for me this isn't any bullshit.

As for now we are planinnig a wedding party in august and I want to have there my mom and brother. My mother works in City Hall, study and have a car(credit) and I'm worry a lot is she get tourist visa or not.she doesn't have to stay here yyy even She doesn't want to(She doesn't like America-just like me:P)

I will pray to God for that visa for her cause we didn't see eachother for a long time!!!
