Hello Guys,

Couldnt find this answer maybe ya'll could answer. Can Rose (my Fiancee) take the CFO Class before Manilla recieves the Case File?

Also is it an option to pick the Visa up at the Embassy, instead of one of the 2GO locations?

Thanks, Kelly

1. Your lovely Rose may attend the CFO counseling prior to USEM getting the file.

2. Picking up the visa at USEM is not an option.

Hello Guys,

Must people wait until they receive there MNL number before attend CFO. I am not 100% on if you can take the Counseling/Seminar before your petition is assigned a case number. On the CFO site it does not state you can not take the seminar. All you need is the requirements.

Requirements for Attendance to Guidance and Counseling Program

Two (2) valid identification cards (IDs) with photograph;

Duly completed guidance and counseling form;

If married, certified true copy and photocopy of marriage contract on security paper from the National Statistics Office, or Local Civil Registry Offices; or original and photocopy of marriage contract duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/ Consulate (if married abroad)

Other documents as may be required by the counselors; and

Payment of P250.00 counseling fee.

Even if you attend the Seminar you will need to wait for Visa Application approval and receive passport and visa in hand. Then you would return to CFO. They will then place the stamp and sticker in the passport.

Also is it an option to pick the Visa up at the Embassy, instead of one of the 2GO locations?

Thanks, Kelly

US Embassy Manila does not allow pick-ups from the Embassy anymore unless there is a extreme or special circumstance.

The Immigrant Visa unit uses a guaranteed courier service to deliver issued visas. 2GO commercial courier is the authorized courier service provider for the visa units. Visas are delivered directly to the applicant’s designated address at no additional cost. Applicants also have the option to pick up the visas at the nearest 2GO branch.

Applicants do not need to return to the Embassy to pick up their issued visas.

It was raining when I woke this morning, it was raining when we came back out of Immigrations, it was raining... still... when we grabbed a taxi after lunch heading home. Finally this afternoon it is just cloudy. Funny question would be ... Is the sun shining? :lol:

Enjoy the rain and the cooler temps -- because when it's hot, it's hot.
