Hello All,

I have a CrAzY...Question?? Has anyone tried cutting out the barcode off the actual AOS packet and pasting it onto the completed AOS form (printed from website) and mailing it back?? Is that a good idea??? I keep telling myself to be patient and understanding due to the sloooooowww process.. I have all my documents for the AOS packet but awaiting NOA2 results to mail everything out.... I'm going crazzzzzzzzzzy....waiting :whistle: , waiting :whistle: , waiting :whistle:

Any advice.... Thanks!!

No babe you cannot do that..well actually you can do anything you set your mind to but it will not be a smart thing to do. Yes you will just have to wait to receive that NOA2

Are you saying you have to wait until after NOA2 to fill out AOS forms because those have the bar code? So the forms they post online is for reference only?

11/11/2011 - Submitted I-130

11/15/2011 - NOA1 emailed

11/21/2011 - NOA1 mail

03/30/2012 - NOA2 emailed

04/05/2012 - NOA2 mail

NVC

04/05/2012 - NVC received I-130 package

04/17/2012 - NVC case number assigned

04/18/2012 - Submitted DS3032 email

04/20/2012 - AOS fee bill invoiced and paid

04/24/2012 - AOS fee bill shows "PAID"

04/25/2012 - DS3032 accepted

04/25/2012 - AOS package sent via USPS

04/26/2012 - AOS package delivered to NVC

05/02/2012 - AOS package reviewed and accepted

05/04/2012 - IV fee bill invoiced and paid

05/07/2012 - IV fee bill shows "PAID"

05/07/2012 - IV package sent via USPS

things have changed a bit.

The 'barcode' trick from ages past (still referenced in the Wiki)

isn't needed anymore

ya pay the fees online at the NVC online payment portal.

There will be a coversheet containing a barcode that you put ON TOP of the AOS packet.

Wait for it, yer time is coming up.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Before you mail out your AOS packet, you also send NVC the DS-3032 choice of agent form. I think this is the form that would have the bar code. Have you called the NVC to find out if they have assigned your file a case #? If you have that case number you can put that on the DS-3032 form and mail to the NVC without waiting for to receive anything from them.
