can annulment affect green card?

I was married to a US citizen and she applied for annulment because i didnt want to have children and we lived apart, she never petitioned for me or filed for adjustment of status.

I am remarried and we are working on filing for my green card. My question is will the earlier annulment affect my application in any way (she never filed for greencard for me)?

It shouldn't, unless your ex contacted ICE and has proof you comitted fraud.

It could possibly have an effect. It will show fraudulent marraige

You will have to show copies of all marraiges and divorces and annulments when filing your new application. They can question reasons for annulment.

Also it will depend on what type of visa you came over on. If you came over on a K1 it is so stated in you visa. If you came over on a I130 it will be stated in your visa as well. You must remember that if your first husband petition for you your information is listed with immigration. I suggest you speak with an attorney. My ex husband has been unable to get remarried because I divorced him among other reasons and he has been unable to walk into immigration for over 8 years,with an order to deport.
