The Jamaican finace(e) has to order the non-impediment at the Registrar Generals Department. The price is listed on the website as $5000 but I don't know for sure that this is correct. I would suggest you order the non-impediment well in advance---as in immediately once you receive your approval notice of the I-129f petition.

The RGD website with locations and some price listings is www.rgd.gov.jm

To all my fellow Jamaicans.

Pls Advise where can fiance get a non-impediment certificate?

The registrar general Department, the current fee is $5,600 for 7 day service. Your fiance will need to take birth certificate ,national ID/ Passport plus the fee. You can get 3 day service at $6,600 as well. Good luck.

Has any recent filers received there cert "express" as the beneficiary requested? I see older posts whereas it took +3 weeks. Has it improved any?

I doubt it will improve, just do it as soon as possible so you will get it on time for your interview. They will be slow.
