Not sure...are you coming on a K1? The petitioner uses his or her assets and income as proof of meeting or exceeding the poverty income level. Where are you at in this process?

Assets need to be convertible into cash within one year, and the cash needs to be available to you to spend here in the USA. Can you do this with your apartment, and demonstrate convincingly that you can do it?

Alternatively, does your apartment provide you with an income that you can transfer to the USA and spend here?

Can I (the intending immigrant) use my assets in my home country (an apartment) to qualify, if my wife doesnt work? Thanks.
