ink fingerprints or scans?

hi,

Just called today the police centre in Victoria to make an appointment to get the name and fingerprint check and they asked if I need Ink fingerprints or scans - they said that for the ink fingerprints they don't have appointments until August(!) and if it's just fingerprint scans they can give me an appointment for next week.

Any one has experience with this???

Ouch! They said that to my fiance too! What he did was he called every day asking if an appointment opened up, and they gave him one within a week (it was actually this past Monday ) So just keep trying and you should get a closer appointment!! Good luck and don't give up!
