Hello everybody,

On form I-130 #20 it states to have my husband write his name and address in his language if they do not use roman alphabet. How necessary is this if I have the correct spelling in english that I write it in arabic too? Since he is in Morocco and I am here this may be a problem because I don't write in arabic. Any suggestions?

It is required. Best way to do it is to email the mostly complete form to your husband and have him type the information in the native alphabet.

The form does not require anybody to "write" anything. Everything can be entered in the PDF. "Type" is a perfectly acceptable substitute for "write".

He can email you just the arabic address and name and you copy and paste it into the document yourself

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

My husband tried to type it in PDF we had no luck he sent me the info in Arabic I resized it printed it out then pasted it to the form made a copy and it worked no issues from USCIS. Lol felt like an art project
