m new to the VJ,but ur reviews nd status updates r phenominal,i must say "U GUYS ROCK"..

now,let me tell u bout my situation.i filed i-130 for my wife in year 2010 jan.,her PD is feb. 22-2010 nd after calling NVC,i figured out that case was completed on dec. 15-2010..is there anyway if i could find out hw long its gonna take? cuz i m planning to visit INDIA nxt month to accompany her for medicals/interviews,m i goin too fast or its worth visiting?plz do post ur suggestions.do u guys think visa bulletin is gonna hit 2010 this tym?plz suggest...plz plz plz :innocent:

I say .. your wife is likely to have an interview in June/July 2012.

The current visa bulletin that you/your wife are subjected to is at Oct. 22, 2009 So within 2-3 months your wife should have her interview date.

Dec 30 2010 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
May 12 2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)
May 23 2011 - NVC case # Assigned
Nov 17 2011 - COA / I-864 received
Nov 18 2011 - Sent COA
Apr 30 2012 - Pay AOS fee

Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package

Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete

May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

July 19 2013 - Enter the USA

For F2A category:

March 2012 cut off dates: July 22, 2009

April 2012 cut off dates: Oct 8, 2009

Based on this, it looks like that it is going to take little more while to get your interview date. But don't expect interview for next month.

You can visit your spouse next month or later, and you don't have to be available at the time of medical/interview.
