My K-1 petition was approved on September 18, and NVC still doesn't have me on file yet... Evidently USCIS hasn't sent it out yet. I don't understand what is going on. I wish they have sent the approval on to Manila.

Hate to be bearer of bad news but i wouldnt expect them to get it for atleast 1 month or so after the approval date.

Our petition was approved on 9/07/2006 and NVC still doesnt have it in the system yet.

The csc said they forwarded it to nvc on the 13th but as of today 10/6/2006 at 7:20 pm est they dont have the petition in the system.

hope they get things rolling for you soon mine is going to philippines also

Hello,

My K-1 Petition was approved on September 1st and was received at the Visa Center yesterday. It can take up to 6 weeks for them to receive it. You must be patient.

The way I see it now..WAITING is the name of the GAME :( Let's hope for the best and praying hard for the God's intervention to all the cases that been waiting for a long time now..God pleaseeee.. (F)

My NOA2 date is also 9/18 from CSC and NVC has "no record" of my petition either. :(

WOW, we are in the same boat, approved and sent to NVC on 14 Sept. Called NVC and they saif call back in 2 weeks as it usually take a month. When did mail last take a month to go across the U.S.??? oh yea that ws the days of the Pnly express. This is crazy, maybe we will all be in the Embassy at the same time, LOL. Payato

Same. We have a Sept 11 approval, so 4 weeks this coming Monday. I called NVC yesterday and the guy I talked to was nice enough. But still no record of our app. I gently explained that the letter I had from USCIS stated it had already been forwarded to NVC, and he said, yes, USCIS does that unfortunately, but it means nothing. Probably, he said, it was still sitting in California. He said they recieve apps from Cal in bundles at a time. This is like walking through quicksand. You finally get one foot free only to find the other one's now stuck!

Don't worry we experienced the same. Actually NVC does not udate their site. Numerous calls also were to no avail. NVC received our petition one week after USCIS sent it to them which was August 18. They never recorded the WAC # and even after assigning us a case number they did not post that either. By the time I received the letter from NVC stating that the petition was sent to the embassy,which was September 11, the Packet 3 was being sent to my fiance(e)s house. Even after receiving the letter from NVC they had not entered our case number in their system. So don't expect any updates until you receive the letter from NVC which could take anywhere from three to four weeks as in our case, by that time your petition will most likely be at your embassy.
