I think it depends on where your love lives. Somewhere on here is a conversation with a CO and he states if the application is from the middle east then it goes thru extra checks. So if the government is kind enough to pull all those petitions why would they not be sweet enough to investigate each one. You have to remember that terrorists have not come from the Phillipines. Most come from the Middle East. and most marriage frauds come from Middle East and parts of Africa and others... The Men marry american women and then divorce them 2 years later to bring over their TRUE wife from their country. This happens alot. So our government tries to protect us and they gather as much info before the interview in order to deny the petition or visa.

I know it is hard for you to believe and you do not have to. But, I would like you to try to understand that it is possible and know that it has happened.

Women from the Phillipines might marry to get out of their country but they usually do not have their "family chosen" husband in the phillipines waiting to get his visa from her visa.I hope your process is easy and speedy.

Good Luck

Okay, you are actually reinforcing my point and not disputing it. Middle eastern men can indeed be national security risks as can those from African countries. I wouldn't be surprised if those individuals were rigorously investigated.

As for me "not understanding"... you are in error. I have worked in highly classified environments and know pretty well what can be done and what it takes to make it happen.

I'm not trying to personalize this discussion and to make it about me. I'm trying to get the point across that unless there is something fishy in routine background checks, or that the beneficiary is from a known "hot" area, that all of this stuff about hacking into personal accounts, etc. just doesn't happen willy-nilly.

Again, the discussion isn't about me, it's about the government and what it can do versus what it does do.

May your visa journey be smooth and speedy.

Why is there rumors, speculation and untruths on this thread? As USC, do you really think we have nothing better to do here but just make up untruthful things that go on behind closed doors at the Embassy. I was one of those couples that went through the Moroccan Consulate and I can sit here and tell you it was no surprise what they had already sitting in front of them when they starting interviewing my fiance at the time. Chat logs from 2006, girls he chatted with and there names and where they lived and there cell phone numbers should they needed to call them right in front of him. This is no joke and soon you shall find out the hard way to. Good luck whistling.gif

They didn't Hack our account but how do you suppose foreverwaiting info was opened? They didn't do it so who did and how?

Yes it does happen!

So yeah middle eastern countries DO get more of this than others but what we are trying to say is it does and can happen not that it will to most people but the government CAn and does have the ability even if your not a T country beneficiary...
