Doesn't it suck to know that there's plenty of area's that you wouldn't be safe to visit because it's over run by a bunch of low lifes who wouldn't think twice about killing and then robbing you right before they raped and murdered your wife if she was with you.

Where else would you go to score cheap drugs? Those neighborhoods have a role to play in the overall ecology.

I have a plan. It's called "I'll just let someone else handle it."

In the mean time I'll pay thousands of dollars every year so someone else can handle my problems for me. I'll just keep moving farther and farther away so I don't ever have to come in contact with "those people" and I can live a happy and secure life.

Sounds like a winner to me! I hope your kids and grandkids enjoy the America that you've helped build.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I don't understand that post of yours. It reads like a post made in desperation. Maybe you could explain that post in detail.

And yes, I carry a hammer sometimes, when it is needed, and a gun at other times.....different tools for different jobs.

So instead of taking the personal responsibility necessary to exercise your own liberty and go wherever you want to go, you'll just avoid certain places because someone there won't allow you to?

What? Are you smoking crack? If I wanted to go there, I would. But I don't want to because there's really nothing at all attractive about most American inner cities. Nothing.

Here in Cincinnati it's necessary to transit through the inner-city to get to more suburban activities like going to the Reds/Bengals/Cyclones games, the zoo, the museum, etc. It's almost impossible not to.

How did you approach that when you lived here?

Well, if I had to transit through the City, to get where I wanted to go, then that's what I did. What's your point?

My point is there should be no need for "special plans" when going about your daily business. And if everyone plans on moving out of the city and moving farther and farther away then the problem will just get worse. The answer is not paying someone else to take care of it ("Don't feed the animals." Why do we say that at the parks but not about welfare?) it's becoming personally involved.

Folks who simply avoid it are, in fact, making it worse.

I make the inner cities worse by not being interested to go there? You are smoking crack.

Exactly.

I'm surprised you don't understand this. You seem to grasp most other concepts. Why do you think the inner city is the way it is? Lack of "help?"
