Didn't find any information on the site on the following two issues.

1. I am completing i-864 form and had a question regarding Part 5 - Sponsor Household Size. If my wife is the one i'm trying to sponsor, i put her in 21(a). However, in 21© it states, if you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse. I'm married so i should put 1 but isn't that double counting? Should i put 0 there in 21©? Please help.

2. Part 2, Question 6 - Alien Registration Number

- Since my wife doesn't have one yet, can i just ignore that or should i put N/A or none?

3. Part 2, Question 7 - U.S.Social Security Number

- Since my wife doesn't have one yet, can i just ignore that or should i put N/A or none?

1. This question is asked a LOT. There's a handy search feature in the top right of VJ.

Since she's already counted in a, then put 0 in c.

2. Put 'none'. Do NOT put n/a as that question is applicable.

3. Put 'none'. Do NOT put n/a as that question is applicable.

Hey Saylin...Thanks for all your help on my prev post regarding the passport pics and stuff. We have sent off all our DS-260 stuff. And I have read your wiki several times and find it a great help.

Not sure if you would know the answer on this or not but it kind of ties in to this posters questions, but mine differs a little.

Since my wife is the USC, when it comes to the I-864 could she do the I-864W for our 2 kids and would they be considered US citizens as soon as they cross over because they already have one US parent??

(there is some notes about on the I-864W exemption form about the child citizenship act of 2000) We are finding this part kind of confusing. I am thinking that she will have to do a normal I-864 for me and the I-864w for our 2 children.

Yes, I believe for kids, the I-864W is filled out instead of the I-864.

As for them becoming US citizens, there's a few criteria I think they have to meet (that CCA you saw), but if they do, then they're automatically US citizens as soon as they go through POE.
