PACKET 3 AFTER LONG DELAY-COLOMBIA

Well after waiting one month and a day Packet 3 finally arrived from the embassy in Bogota. My

fiance(e) lives in Tulua, about 100 kilometers nothwest of Cali, famous for lost or delayed mail. We had already made an appointment with the embassy for October 10 to obtain and urn in a new packet thinking that the mail was lost in transit. The packet was actually postmarked September 11, 2006. This indicates that the packet left the embassy six days after arrival there. Now if it takes as long for packet 4 to arrive we will just go ahead and check out the website posting for the new November interview dates. Since Tulua is not that close to Bogota we are hopig for an interview date no sooner than November 3, 2006, in order to make travel arrangements. Just some information for those of you who have been waiting a long time for your packet 3.

Congrats on finally getting packet#3. It is about time! That is why I posted threads to help other VJ members going through the U.S. Embassy in Colombia an easier route but you did not decide to take it. Good luck and I hope things go smoother from here on out.

If you get packet #3 to the Embassy before that cut-off date that varies from the 16th to the 20th from month to month that means you will have the interview the following month. If you do not make the cut-off date then it will be the following month after that. This means to get a November 2006 interview date you need to get packet #3 to the Embassy before October 16th to the 20th, I would get it to them before October 16, 2006.

Hi, I had my interview las week in Bogota, please ask your fiance to take good proofs and pictures of yout relationship, as well as you engament ring. MAny girls were rejected and asked for more prrof and other interview because they didnt had enought pictured and proofs.

Yes at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia they "LOVE" pictures and they like to see engagement rings.
