Peruvian passport

Good Morning,

Just a quick question..my fiance has his interview package and it says he has to take his passport to the interview. His interview is April 18th, BUT he has not applied for his passport yet. he has been a bit busy with work, but he says he will do it this week, or next week at the latest. My question is : Does anyone know how long it takes in Peru, to recieve a passport?? When I went here in Miami, to get my daughters passport it took a month to recieve and I am stressing because if it is the same, we do NOT have a month ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

According to their website http://www.digemin.gob.pe/servicios_pasaportes_expedicion.html it takes 1 hour. He will probably have to spend more time outside in line waiting to apply than waiting for the actual passport after he hands out his application.

Oh fantastic..thanks to both of you !! That takes weight off my shoulders !!! He just got his appt for his medical exam and they told me he has to take his passport, so I thought it would be like here, where it can take about a month to get your passport.

Same day, and if he is from Lima, tell him to go to Ovalo Gutierrez is quicker than in Migraciones from Brena!!! :thumbs: (oh and tell him to go first thing in the morning!)

Thanks D&G... I gave him this information, he is going to go get his passport today actually. I told him about Ovalo Gutierrez...he says that since he is in Los Olivos, there is a place i think he said its called MAC, in Plaza Norte, its closer to him and he thinks it might even be a bit quicker ! Thanks !!!!
