Renewing Green Card in Guam

I have a green card that expired in 2003 and I have been out of America for at least 10 years. The last time I was in the country was ten years ago and I know I cannot enter the country with a green card any more. I heard that Guam is a US territory and I have a passport that qualifies for their visa waiver program. Just wondering, would it be possible for me to enter Guam as a visitor and get my green card renewed at the local USCIS? I know I shouldn't be leaving the country for more than a year but I really don't want to go through the whole immigration process again cus that definitely takes too long. Can some one help me? Thanks!

You lost your GC long time back if you have not entered US in last 10 yrs.

You cannot renew your GC if you have not lived in US for last 10 yrs, you can enter US or travel to US using your VWP but you are no longer a perm resident of US.

Like harsh said, you are no longer an LPR. The only way you would have a shot is if you could prove extenuating circumstances kept you out of the country for so long when you had planned to return. (Like if you were kidnapped or in a coma.) If you have a valid way to become an LPR again (like a USC spouse) you can do the entire process again, but not by entering on VWP. You'd have to do it from your country.

You will not be able to renew your green card in Guam. You have abandoned your legal permanent residency. You didn't live permanently in the US. You left the US for 10 years and abandon your LPR status.

Maintaining Permanent Residence

You may lose your permanent resident status (green card) if you commit an act that makes you removable from the United States under the law, as described in Section 237 or 212 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) (see the “INA” link to the right).
