I know this might be mentioned elsewhere, but I am living in a developing country right now and internet access is super limited so reading through forums can be difficult...

I'm living in Georgia right now (below Russia) and will be filling out the K-1 Visa. I am an English teacher here, and barely make any money. Therefore, my parents will be acting as co-sponsors for me. I know the first thing I need to do is to file the I-129F petition. I have the checklist and guidelines for this form. Do you have to fill out the financial support affidavit with the I-129F or is this only for the K-1 visa application? The checklist I have from VisaJourney does not mention including this in your petition package. I just want to make sure...

You don't need financial support documentation for I-129F. You will only need them at the interview stage.

Correct, you only need the I-134 (financial support form) at the interview stage.

Focus on getting your I-129f application together now.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
