It took VSC 9 months to look at my ROC application, and N-400 is another 7-8 months in my area. I just wish they could better distribute their resources given how much money we pay for these applications.

Just think otta, that once you finish your citizenship, you will not have to pay another fee to USCIS except to renew a passport (and I think that is a different agency. I know it is a lot of money to process our applications for ROC one year and Citizenship the next but I am looking forward to getting the citizenship taken care of for my DH so we don't have to worry about USCIS raising their application fees in the future. I see that u got ur conditions removed and i had couple of questionS. I sent in my RFE about the same time as u dec20 but have not heard anything.

1. Was ur Rfe specific or did the require all evidence?

2. Did u get a letter mail about approval or email?

My RFE was worded in a specific format - Residency of Spouse, Information about Children (none), and Financial Proofs were all requested. Here is what my Cover Letter (and RFE Contents) consisted of;

1. Exhibit A – Tax Returns married filing joint

2. Exhibit B – Joint bank account and Home Loan Mortgage

Here are a few more items that I did not mention earlier;

Our file shipped out on 12/27, arrived on 12/28 - Reviewed/Approved on 1/8/13 (in Fresno, CA).

Your file shipped out on 12/20, arrived on (let's say) 12/26 - not much time difference as our package which shipped only 52 miles and followed (not preceeded) the Christmas Holiday. That slowed your package arrival down bigtime. Also, I read that the CSC does not collect Post Office mail on Saturdays.

Our I-797 arrived in the snail mail yesterday, from Fresno, CA. I know that mail originating from Central California (Fresno) to Southern California (Riverside) only takes 2 days at most to arrive. Keep those variables under consideration with regard to your immigration case. I am sure you will hear your good news within days because of the distance your mail has to cover in comparison to my mail. Good luck! :thumbs:

I-751 Sent = The Date you sent your application

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment

Approved = The Date your case was approved which is the date on your approval letter

GC Received = The Date you get your card in the mail, NOT the date on the letter

I got another email saying my card gas been mailed and went to USCIS website but I couldn't find tracking number that other people mentioned would be there. Should I wait for another email or what ?

You are lucky to receive emails at least,

My NOA date is April 27th 2012 and biometric were done on May 31st 2012. Since than I have been waiting with no updates. Calling USCIS is like wasting your cell phone minutes. I have been planning to go back home to visit my parents and dont know what to do since my ROC is still pending.

Any suggestions. Thank you!
