Just out of curiosity, I was wondering why some cases are approved earlier than others. I mean doesn't USCIS follow a chronological order while approving the applications ???

We got a text from uscis this morning telling us to check our case status. My husbands 10 yr green card was ordered for production on December 27, 2012. The wait is finally over! The rest of the VSC filers, hang in there! Can someone update our status please?

In my case, if I need to translate a document from Spanish to English, the translator needs to be certified by the Federal Court ? It was very difficult to find one here but he asked me that. Maybe someone knows.....

any one who speaks fluent spanish can translate it. They need to certify it is a correct translation. Doesn't need to be anyone special.

I think that many officers have the files so it depends on how fast the officer works and how big is the file, how clear it is and a lot of factors that's why some cases are just straight forward, some need more attention. I hope I answered the question.
