Wait, so we can apply for citizenship 90 days before the three year date? That is good news! :)

Totally understand. While I haven't "always been eyeing the citizenship" (that sounds pretty suss honestly), I HAVE been planning ahead since AOS. Mainly because it's better for me to keep lists so I don't forget things, and also because the N-400 needs dates of leaving the country and employment info and stuff and I wanted to make sure I kept all that up to date. All my stuff is good to go EXCEPT the forms may change between now and then so I didn't waste time fully completing the form in case it DOES change. My window opens in just under 9 months now (I only know 'cause someone asked me). You're at about 9 1/2 months.

My wife got her conditional Green Card on 5/5/10 and then we applied for her ROC in April 2012. How do I know when she is eligible to apply for Citizenship?

I just re-read this post and realize you said it sound "Suspicious" How so? I'm all ready a Citizen, she is not. If you want your spouse to be a green card holder forever that's cool too, But things are much better when you're a citizen.

Non-bs? lol. Probably not. I didn't realise you were the USC (given you keep calling it "your paper" when it's not "your paper" its the immigrants) so reading what it thought was the immigrant saying "I've always been eyeing the citizenship" is suss and makes it sound like they're with their USC for citizenship reasons only. Also, not everyone can become a USC due to their countries laws AND I'm the LPR. :D As I said in my post I will be applying for my citizenship when the time comes for several reasons, the main one being we may return to Australia and I want to be able to live here or in Australia without issue in the event we have children.. which is why I want Tony to get AC asap.

Hey guys can someone add me to the list for VSC? I filed on April 18 (two days before GC expired). I sent it overnight and it was received the following morning. The NOA was mailed out on 04/20 and I received it 04/23. Got my biometrics appt on 06/18 for 07/02 and now I'm just waiting....and hoping I don't have an interview because my husband is getting ready to deploy again...it's funny because he was also deployed for my AOS interview but that got approved even though he didn't show up...*keeping my fingers crossed*.

Well finally some movement from VCS on K1's anyway. Shows like 8 approved yesterday. Maybe they will get to 751's soon also. :wacko: Anyway just 7 months till window opens for citizenship!

You may be correct I am just going by letter we got saying eligible to remove conditions March 3rd I thought Citizenship would be same thus 7 and a half months. But this a goverment operation and not mistake proof :rofl:

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I am late updating my status...We just recently moved in our new house and it was a nightmare. We still have issues with the builder.

Anyway fortunately, I got my bio appointment letter 2 days before we moved. My appointment was supposed to be today at 2 pm. My husband is working today overtime. So we decided to go yesterday early in the morning. They said no problem. Everyone were very nice and friendly!

I am very happy that it's done because we will be leaving for vacation in Canada (driving) at the end of the month!
