Yes, just file a form AR-11(you can do it by mail or online). I did online. If you are moving within the state, don't even worry. My application was approved in the minimum time, so it shouldn't cause you any delays.

AOS from B1/B2:

January 12 - I-130 & I-485 Delivered

January 24 - Both checks cashed

January 26 - Both NoAs received

February 9 - Biometrics letter received

February 17 - Biometrics appointment

January 18 - Green Card Ordered (No Interview)

January 22 - Green Card Mailed

Tygrys, how do you know when you are eligible for N-400? I haven't been thinking about it yet. but with all horror stories about late filling, it's good to have the date on the calendar.

"Resident since" date on your GC + 3 years - 90 days.

Yeah I was getting worried! Mail should only take 1 day to get to where I am from Southern California. :angry: They must have held on to it till 2 days ago :wacko:

I've just received my NOA today and the funny part is that it is dated April 27 (the same day they received my package), but it took 10 business days to get it in hands.

FINALLY received my biometrics letter. Postmarked 8th May and I received it today, 11th May for a June 4th, 8am interview... It's 3 hours away so no I'm not gunna bother with a walk-in this time. Des Moines office sucks for delay!

Also, I would love to reorder everyone via NOA1 date (which is what matters, not posted date) but too many dates are missing to bother. So just remember to look at that date, rather than the mailed date.

Also, my Bio letter number is working for case updates but it says the last time it was touched was 7th April 2012.. lol.

FINALLY received my biometrics letter. Postmarked 8th May and I received it today, 11th May for a June 4th, 8am interview... It's 3 hours away so no I'm not gunna bother with a walk-in this time. Des Moines office sucks for delay!

Congratulations! It was about time! :)

I hope I'm next, getting a bit more worried every day that passes without letter >_<

So was I honestly. Have you called to check on it? All they could tell me (the tier 2 that is) was that I was in the biometrics "line" awaiting scheduling so I knew at least my case wasn't lost and I hadn't had my mail lost.

I tried calling before but didn't get to talk to a tier 2 since they said I was still within normal waiting times. I might have believed them if I didn't know that many people that filed at the same time had already got their appointment :angry:

I'll try calling again next Monday and make sure I get to ask a tier 2. Back when I did AOS I actually got my EAD super-late because somehow my biometrics appointment was never scheduled (I got it scheduled after 4 months from filing when I inquired about it during an infopass appointment), so the experience made me particularly paranoid about biometrics :unsure:
