My wife arrived at the Varick Street office at 8:30 this morning. Stood in line and went thru security which took about 15 mins, then went upstairs to room 1023. Once there she was given a form to fill out and she returned it and was given a number. Before she returned to the seat to wait they called her number. At the desk they reviewed her Green Card and Bio letter then took her picture and fingerprints. She was done with everything in 10 mins and no problem with an early walk in appt.

One question though, I am entering in her EAC number on the uscis website but it still says Case Not Found - anyone else have that?

Make sure you are using the number on the Bio letter. It might take a little bit of time to update.

Did anybody get CRI89 letter after NOA 1 ?

I didn't get sucha letter but I read on another post about people getting it in between NOA 1 and Biometrics .

Now that our biometrics are done, what is the timeline? Does everyone get interviewed (we did not get an RFE or interview for AOS)? From what I'm reading does December sound right for an approval if no RFE?

Vermont has not started processing August '11 I-751 applications yet and I don't think there was any ROC approval out of VSC during at least last couple weeks.

So, I am not expecting anything until at least January '13. Of course if the current trend continues, my wife may be eligible to file for naturalization before ROC is complete. :bonk:

As far as I know, there is no such a thing.

CRI89 is mentioned on NOA1 as a type of form which will be listed under application type when you view the status of your case on USCIS website.

Hey guys, I'm just wondering, we're moving to a different state at the end of this year? Do you think that would prolong the processing for my I 751 if I change my address?

It depends whether you are moving to the state that assigned to the other service center, then they will have to transfer your file. But if you are moving withing the state or to the one that uses the same filing center, then you are fine. It won't slow down the process at all, just a simple update on the file. I went through this.

AOS from B1/B2:

January 12 - I-130 & I-485 Delivered

January 24 - Both checks cashed

January 26 - Both NoAs received

February 9 - Biometrics letter received

February 17 - Biometrics appointment

January 18 - Green Card Ordered (No Interview)

January 22 - Green Card Mailed

Tygrys, how do you know when you are eligible for N-400? I haven't been thinking about it yet. but with all horror stories about late filling, it's good to have the date on the calendar.

Yeah I was getting worried! Mail should only take 1 day to get to where I am from Southern California. :angry: They must have held on to it till 2 days ago :wacko:
