Not a stupid question at all.... I never even checked that. Just checked it and I did sign the check. I have no idea what they are talking about, if it is not because we did not spell out our middle names then I am stumped.

Has anyone done walk-in biometrics appt at Varick Street office in Manhattan? My wife did a walk in 2 years ago for her AOS and had no problems. She is going tomorrow to do a walk in so wanted to know if anyone had any experience there recently.

Got biometrics letter today!

FINALLY!! congrats!! Hope I'm not too far behind :D

Why is it that some people get their biometric appointment earlier than others even though upto this point it should be automated. I mean I know that every field office has its own backlog but at least at similar field office it should be some. What ever this whole immigration process sucks for those who entered marriage in good faith and have to go through these redundant processes again and again until we become citizens. Why do we need two types of green card. Its not like people who get divorced before the 2 yr period don't get Permanent GC.

Not sure about Varick street but my hubby walked in today at a Queens location and they did his biometrics.

12/2009 - Interview (2nd time) APPROVED! VISA ISSUED

Has anyone done walk-in biometrics appt at Varick Street office in Manhattan? My wife did a walk in 2 years ago for her AOS and had no problems. She is going tomorrow to do a walk in so wanted to know if anyone had any experience there recently.

My wife arrived at the Varick Street office at 8:30 this morning. Stood in line and went thru security which took about 15 mins, then went upstairs to room 1023. Once there she was given a form to fill out and she returned it and was given a number. Before she returned to the seat to wait they called her number. At the desk they reviewed her Green Card and Bio letter then took her picture and fingerprints. She was done with everything in 10 mins and no problem with an early walk in appt.

One question though, I am entering in her EAC number on the uscis website but it still says Case Not Found - anyone else have that?
