We can't really tell with USPS. That's why I sent the packet using USPS Priority Mail and paid for tracking function, so I can pinpoint if it arrived.

It should take only a few days within the US, not sure if you're out of country.

We mailed our ROC package on 4/27

Should get there by next Monday?

Not too worried just yet. I did file very early and I'm getting antsy for the bio letter, but others say it could take up to 6 months. I hope it comes soon! I guess the Minneapolis bio center is just backlogged. cool.gif

I have not revd the Biometrics letter yet. Given that for "YA HAYAT ALBY" who filed after me revd the letter for Biometrics, should I be worried? What can I do? Ours is a perfectly good and valid marriage.

I am starting to get a bit worried about my bio letter too :( It doesn't help that back during AOS something went wrong with my biometrics appointment and it was never scheduled, so it got to the point that my EAD was approved but it was pending due to not having had biometrics yet D:

If I don't get anything by next week I think I'll try calling like Vanessa&Tony to make sure it wasn't sent and got lost somewhere ><

Hello Everyone :)

I started posting on the site two years ago. Came in on a tourist visa and overstayed, met my hubby he was a citizen, got married and was granted conditional green card. Now may4th is the 90 days filling period. I thought the form was pretty straight forward. But when I started reading the forum I thought ok maybe I should send in a little more. Like more than just past 2-3 months of bills but up to 18 months back maybe?

I am just confused about the biometric appnt, i thought i didnt need it anymore. But apparently everyone has to file it and pay the $590. I am living in the US not military or anything like that. So just the i-751 form and a 590 check right? I dont need the fingerprints card, photos or any additional forms right?

If anyone knows the answer I would really really really greatly appreciate any feedback and response.

Thank You in advance for any help. I forgot how confusing all this can be.

You're supposed to send info over the last 2 years of your relationship. if it's not enough they'll just RFE you. Yes $590 and the form (plus supporting documents). Biometrics are required for each submission (some exclusions but usually). If you file for USC you will do biometrics again then as well.

I-751 Sent = The Date you sent your application

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment

Hello Everyone :)

I started posting on the site two years ago. Came in on a tourist visa and overstayed, met my hubby he was a citizen, got married and was granted conditional green card. Now may4th is the 90 days filling period. I thought the form was pretty straight forward. But when I started reading the forum I thought ok maybe I should send in a little more. Like more than just past 2-3 months of bills but up to 18 months back maybe?

I am just confused about the biometric appnt, i thought i didnt need it anymore. But apparently everyone has to file it and pay the $590. I am living in the US not military or anything like that. So just the i-751 form and a 590 check right? I dont need the fingerprints card, photos or any additional forms right?

If anyone knows the answer I would really really really greatly appreciate any feedback and response.

Yes, the extra stuff is for military/people who live overseas.

You just need the form and the check (dont forget front & back copies of your greencard!)

And yes, it is a good idea to send evidence like bank statements that span the marriage.

Doesn't have to be every single month.. I only sent every few months.

You need another biometric appt because those bios are only good for (I think) 15 months.

Send everything else that show you share a life and responsibilites (esp. financial) together.

Joint taxes.. Loans.. lease/mortgage..

Hey there everyone, we mailed our packet 3/30 and NOA received 4/3 at CSC. We are still waiting on biometrics letter. Based on what I'm reading though, seems very common, going to try not to worry until about 60 days :wacko:

USCIS (122 days)

09-25-09 : NOA1 I-130

10-05-09 : NOA1 I-129

01-25-10 : NOA2 I-130/I129 Text & email

NVC (62 days)

01-29-10 : NVC case number assigned via AVR

04-01-10 : SIGN IN FAILED WAHOoooo!!!

05-27-10 : Interview....visa Approved!!!

06-02-10 : Picked up Visa at Embassy

06-04-10 : POE NYC...no delays or problems.

Removing Conditions

3/30/12 I-751 filed and sent to USCIS CA Service Center

4/3/12 NOA1

5/30/12 Biometrics completed Santa Rosa, CA early walk-in without problem

10/11/12 Green Card approved

10/17/12 Green Card received
