Updating lilib's Bio date :)

Hi soundedguy, when is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list ;)

The receipt date is 24th of April. I was trying to update my case number to the USCIS website and it's not verifying it. Does it mean it takes time to update on the USCIS website or what?

Naturalization

04/08/2013 - N-400 Mailed

07/22/2013 - N-400 Recommended for approval

08/13/2013 - Oath Ceremony

Officially a US citizen.

08/20/2013 - I-130 for Mom mailed

09/02/2013 - NOA received

03/04/2014 - I-130 Approval

Congrats. On the notice it states that the number for checking online is on the biometrics notice.

Look at the dates on the chart above and you can see how long it took people at VSC and CSC from NOA1 to Biometrics letter! :) I guess that doesn't give you exact dates, but if you scroll on this page you can see people updating on receiving their letters.

It took ours about 2 weeks in between.

Delivered to VSC on April 19th,

Still NO NOA till today April 28th. What's going on? It's been over a week, looks like everyone else receives NOA 1 within a week from Application is delivered.

Hi Kerrin,

I mailed my stuff on April 12th and never got a NOA1. I'm not even expecting it anymore at this point; waiting for 30 days to pass and will contact USCIS again to ask for NOA1 to be (re)issued. (When I called USCIS a couple of days ago, they refused to talk to me about this until it has been 30 days....)

Maybe your NOA1 is still somewhere in transit with USPS; it hasn't been that long yet. I know it's no consolation, but unfortunately, there seem to be a couple of people where USCIS (or USPS) screw up from day 1.

According to USPS tracking my package was delivered to VSC today, Hurahhhh!

(now doing the NOA1 dance to make it come soon :dance: )

Here we go frequent checking of our bank account to see when they cash the check..

Still no bio letter. I'll admit it makes me nervous to see people around the same NOA1 date as me with their bio appointments done already... makes me worry that I've been sent a notice and it's lost and I've missed my appointment :S It hasn't been 30 days yet though so I doubt the 1-800 number would tell me anything...

So I called. I tried the electronic system but it said my receipt number could not be found. So I had to tell it that I didn't have it, or that I couldn't find it :S It said the wait time was 1-3 mins but really it was quicker than that. The girl that answered (really nice) said that it was a valid receipt number but she couldn't pull up any info online and asked me if I had my ASC Notice and I said i was calling because I didn't and i wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the appointment as others had their already. So she transferred me up higher (woot Tier 2) without asking. I'll admit I had trouble understanding her :S Tier 2 said I'm in the list awaiting biometrics notice and to wait another 30-60 days that it depends on my local office (which I knew :D). She said currently processing time is 6-12 months.

So there you go. ugh. Wait wait wait...

**Edit - I will mention the main reason I called is because I don't get street delivery and I HAVE had mail returned to sender before and though my NOA1 said PO Box there's reports that USCIS sometime buggers this up so I wanted to make sure I hadn't had any mail returned to sender and i hadn't so good :)

So I still don't have NOA1 but just got my biometrics appt... This is a bit problematic, because my employer is demanding to see an extension letter (not a passport stamp), but at least I'm relieved that USCIS apparently hasn't forgotten about me. Assuming at this point that my NOA1 got lost in the mail.

I-751 Sent = The Date you sent your application

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment

Approved = The Date your case was approved which is the date on your approval letter

GC Received = The Date you get your card in the mail, NOT the date on the letter

I sent my I-751 on April 25

They received April 26

NOA was mailed April 27

NOA recieved April 30.

12 March 2010 - AOS packet received (10am) at Chicago (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765) via Fed ex

19 March 2010 - Checks cashed

29 March 2010 – Received Biometric appointment(20April2010) –dated 25 March 2010

31 March 2010 – Biometrics done via Walk in

20 April 2010 - Original Biometric appointment date

22 April 2010 - Interview appointment received on May 25(dated: April 16, 2010)

19 May 2010 - EAD approved (card production)

19 May 2010 - Approved: I131 , APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

25 May 2010 - Appointment Interview (3:10-3:30pm). APPROVED ;)

25 May 2010 - received email for card production (8:30pm). YAY!
