Received NOA1 in mail today. Check was cashed 04/06/12 (Fri).

It seems like the NOA1 receipt date coincides with the date delivered (or received by USCIS).

HEY GUYS... Im back lol

OK so I should have sent off my file this past Monday, however I had delays with my Taxes and school so Im all off ugh. So anyways, Im intending on filing on Monday or Tuesday but I have an unconventional question:

  • moved a few months back and my checks still have that old address on it, should I still use them for payment seeing that my account number and routing numbers are what's needed for payment processing anyways or should I wait for my new checks to arrive?

My cheques have my maiden name and OLD texas address. I moved to Iowa and used them for AOS (no problem) and i used them for ROC and the cheque was cashed on Tuesday. It's not a big deal at all. I even signed in my married name. i checked with the bank first of course and as long as my signature on the cheque matches the signature on file it's fine.

Finally got the tax transcripts after talking to someone and getting them faxed to me. I ordered them 6 times using both the online and phone methods. I started in early March and have yet to get any in the mail.

So with all that and Xuan’s expiration next month I am sending my packet off tomorrow April 13th…. Friday the 13th. Ooooo how ominous :o

What Luck! My check was cashed on Friday the 13!

I find it interesting the NOA1 date for some people is one day after USCIS receives the packet, I mean that is not even enough time to see if the check went through :P .

Question:

My I-751 form was signed and dated 03/28/2012.

I prepared the ROC package ahead of time, double check many times and made duplicate copy.

90 days window opened on 03/31/2012.

But I only sent it on 04/02/2012 to be within the 90 days window.

So does the I-751 form signed date has any impact on whether USCIS accepts the ROC petition or not, like filing too early before the 90 days window?

I thought the date that USCIS received the ROC petition would be considered as whether the ROC petition is filed within the 90 days window or not.

I don't want USCIS to deny my ROC petition because I filed too early before the 90 days window based on the I-751 form signed date.

Speaking of change!! FINALLY got my NOA1 in the mail :) As everyone has said, seems to be the day they received it. My date is 6th April at 23:23.. or 11:23pm... I check the mail every day and it arrived today so it took a week for me to get it (or 5 business days).

Lol yah. I think though they enter them on the system and that's the time the system prints them... sigh. Wonder how long this is gunna take. People ask me (laymen not involved in the process) how long it's gunna take and about die when I say 3 months minimum.

I wish I could say that. VSC currently takes more than 8 months, they are still processing July '11 ROC filers.

Enclosed please find a JOINT I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status regarding my wife, (). Please also find a money order check for $590.00, the fee for this form. My wife entered the US on CR-1 visa. We are happily living together and request that this petition be accepted for removal of conditions on the residence of my wife)

Enclosed also please find the following documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

• Copy of her passports and green cards of ().

• Pictures of us at various location and time in Las Vegas spanning about two years.

• Copy of 2010 and 2011 bank statement, which we received for our checking account at One Nevada Federal Credit Union Bank (formerly Nevada Federal Credit Union).

• Copy of our chase’s credit cards statement for 2010, 2011.

• IRS tax transcript for 2010, 2011.

• Copy of the title of our car, showing joint ownership.

• Copy of our bank’s and chase’s visa cards showing a joint account.

• Copy of Costco Club cards.

• Copy of our 2nd Anniversary receipt for dinning out and cake purchase.

• Copy of Clark County Recording instrument of our marriage Certificate.

• Copy of my wife gym membership contract which is charge to our account.
