I am currently filling out the Adjustment of Status forms and I am wondering if I would use the same A# that is on the first notice of action and I797 from the K-1 Visa or would I be issued a different A# for the Adjustment of Status. Any assistance from the Visa Journey Community would be greatly appreciated.

Same. The A number is how they identify you and it does not change, you will use that same number thru all the immigration process.

K1 visa
Filed I-129: Dec 3rd 2010
Interview: July 6th 2011 APPROVED!

You will ahve the same A# for all steps in the process

03/28/11 - FP

06/17/11 - status change - scheduled for interview

06/20?/11 - received physical interview letter

07/13/11 - Interview in Fairfax,VA - easiest 10 minutes of my life

07/19/11 - Oath ceremony in Fairfax, VA

12/1/09 - received at VSC

12/2/09 - NOA's for self and daughter

01/12/10 - Biometrics completed

03/15/10 - 10 Green Card Received - self and daughter
