help.....K1 visa with g221

Hi,

my fiance (we applied for K1 Visa) went for her visa interview at Mumbai consulate, the interview went well but she was asked to submit more evidences on wedding plan, my passport copies, photos etc.. she carried all proofs with her to the consulate but the CO simple gave her g221 form and mentioned that she needs to submit the proofs at VFS office along with passport and also asked her to provide the wedding plan.

a week has passed since we have mailed in all documents, till now we haven't gotten any status update on my fiance's passport.

did any one go through this... ? and any idea how long it takes for them to review all the proof and issue the visa?

how can we track the visa status?

we are desperately waiting on some update and are praying to have Visa issued..

any help/suggestion is much appreciated.

Embassy is going to take its time now... You may hear it in a 3-4 weeks.

You can track your passport through VFS site..

I am in a desperate mode now. they returned the passport along with a letter saying that the case is put under administrative processing.. we are losing hope with how long do we need to be separated....

anyone has any clue of how long it takes for administrative processing at Mumbai US consulate?
