That is exactly why i wont pick a name out of fear other people will make fun of it. I cant cure other peoples ignorance. If you let other peoples ignorance dictate the naming of ur child than i cant help you.

My name is Vanessa. That's not too bad right? WRONG! There was this popular TV show YEARS ago where one of the characters met a girl called Vanessa. She was a stripper so they started to call her Vanessa the Undresser... so that became MY nickname. As a young quickly developing girl that was horrifying for me. As an adult obvious I handle it better (some people still remember the show) but as a kid it sucked.

I like the name Lillian. The nickname Lilly rhymes with silly. Silly's not too bad.
