Case Transfer to SUPER SLOW CENTER???

Recently we received the letter saying our AOS case was transferred to the California Service center. When I look on the USCIS site for processing times, it says they are processing forms from FEB. 2007! What does that mean??? The letter said it was transferred for faster processing. Faster processing??? Your site says you're 5 years behind schedule!!! :bonk: I'm thinking that surely I must be understanding something wrong. I honestly don't know how all of us have the patience (maybe I should put all of you and not include myself :)to deal with the US govt! Also, on the EAD how many people really receive it within the 90 day time period? We're on day 83 and getting exasperated...

Lol. Don't look at that. If you notice, your letter does not have a priority date which makes you current. You don't have to wait on your old priority date to be current. Information on the site relates to those with priority dates. I guess it's also different depending on the filing status; I'm not sure. My son got a similar mail and I looked and saw that it took about 2-3 months for approval for most of the cases. I'm anxious as well and hoping that His EAD card will be in production this week. All the best to all of us. Again, don't watch that guideline. Our service centers may be overloaded with cases, thus the transfer. Another thing is you may not be interviewed. Let's hope for a speedy approval. :)

I'm told that EAD and AP are processed at the NBC and aren't transfered with the AOS. If you look at the return address your card was mailed from it probably was Missouri.

I'd make an INFOPASS appointment to find out about your EAD.
