Can USC get into Manila embassy for a 6:30 am appt?

I thought I read USC had to wait until 7:30 to enter the embassy. I called to schedule interview today and was told I could go in with my wife and son at 6:30. Anybody know about this?

2009-07-15: Marriage

2011-03-23: I-130 Sent

2011-03-29: I-130 NOA1

2011-07-09: I-130 RFE

2011-08-16: RFE Reply Sent

2011-08-18: RFE Reply Received at USCIS

2011-09-19: NOA2 approved

2011-10-12: Received NVC

2011-10-20: Paid $88 fee

2011-11-29 NVC submitted

2011-12-08 NVC approved

2011-12-12 Received interview date - need to change

2012-02-01 New Interview Date - need to change again - sputum required

2012-01-11 Medical - 3 day sputum required

2012-01-18 Begin 3 day sputum test

2012-01-23 Results of Sputum negative now wait for 2 month culture

2012-03-21 ***culture results*** NEGATIVE!!!

2012-03-27 Interview!!!

***APPROVED***

2012-03-30 IR-1 delivered, still waiting for IR-2

2012-04-04 IR-2 Delivered!!!

** Ramona went through more testing including xrays. The doctor said he couldn't find any evidence of Tb and cleared her for everything.

I was there last week,i have seen couple who is with there filipina wife and kids.Yes,they

can go in.it is better to be there early. when i got there, there's already a long line...

once you are inside you still had to get the number,and you had to watch out for that because

it change randomly on the board.Best of Luck!...

July 30'12 received mail NOA1(AOS/EAD/AP)

Aug.22'12 Biometrics done(Detroit,MI)

Sept.19 USCIS mailed a noticed they approved my Travel Docs.

Sept.20 EAD card on production(approved in 60 days!)

Sept.25 USPS pick up mail from USCIS(EAD card on the way!)

Sept.27 EAD card received.

Sept 28 went to SSOffice for name change on SSN card.

Oct 05'12 Got my new SSN card.

April 16'13 USCIS emailed Case Status:Card/Document Production.

April 20'13 Recieved mail from USCIS welcome notice.

April 22'13 USCIS email that USPS picked up mail containing my GC.

April 25'13 Green Card on hand,finally!...

I had my interview last year at 6:30am too but went there ealier cuz am telling you....even I went there earlier still the line was crazy.... the other post is right the number will change randomly so never take ur eyes away from the screen. I wish you and your family well, may God bless your interview. ^_^

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Yup! I was there Wednesday. You walk in with your Fiancee, same door, same time... no issues. The embassy folks are very nice about it, friendly also. Don't know where that 7:30 time came from as I have read someone else posting about that time.... total BS.

I have read so many times that the USC had to go to a separate area then wait until 7:30 AM to enter, I have even repeated it as fact. Whe n the woman scheduled me, I told her I would be going with my wife, she said "No problem, just go in with her."

Our appointment was at 630am last week, I find it useless to go there at an ungodly hour coz the guard would not even let you in unless its your time, besides you'll just have to wait for your number to be called when you get inside, in any case...

Our appointment was at 6:30 AM also, we arrived at 5:15 AM so we were not too far back from the front of the line, it does make a difference when you check-in as we were out of the embassy by 10:30 AM. Your number doesn't get active in the system until you check-in so the sooner you are checked in the sooner you get started in the process.

our appointment was 6.30 too and were so excited that we went at 5.30 thinking we gonna be the first on the line but when we got there we are in the far end already. i think the earlier you checked in, the earlier done too.. by 9.30 we're already out of the embassy.

btw, my usc fiance (husband now) was beside me all the time in the embassy including the time of the interview although the the consul warned him not to answer questions intended for me but after that, consul asked him questions too but not formal ones just kinda conversation. Goodluck!
