YMaybe in the fantasyland of Northern CA., 'to grab' someone is the same as 'to beat' someone. To "grab" is not the act of hitting. You ever beat another man's a$$ by grabbing him?

Men use their fist to bloody another guy's nose, men use their fist to knock another man's eye to the back of his skull, or at least hit him so hard -- that eye is swollen shut for the next week. Choking is for women -- is that how the men in Northern CA., do it?
